What even is 'Holistic Nutrition?'

Holistic Nutrition is about more than what's on your plate. It's about more than government nutrition recommendations. It's an approach which combines modern nutrition research with multi-generational wisdom and body awareness. It's about what is best for the individual.

A Holistic Nutritionist is a healthcare practitioner who takes into account all aspects of a person's being and how they interconnect. This means we are going to talk about what you ate, how you pooped, and why your mom shouldn't have forced you to finish your vegetables because now you have broccoli PTSD. A lot comes up when we talk about food.

Holistic Nutritionists use natural, whole foods and targeted supplementation to prevent illness, recover from disease, and promote lifelong holistic health. We create an individualized plan to help with hormonal imbalances, weight-loss, digestive issues, skin concerns, anxiety/depression, and more. Believe it or not, all these things are linked to nutrient deficiencies!

As a Holistic Nutritionist, I recognize that different bodies have different needs. I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach, and I challenge a food guide that places heavy emphasis on grains and dairy. Some people feel better minimizing or eliminating these foods, while others can enjoy them often while feeling amazing.

I know that some digestive issues come from food intolerances, while some come from social anxiety. I believe that balanced blood sugar and exercise is an effective treatment for most cases of depression.

Whatever your health history and current lifestyle, I want to help you get to place of radical happiness and epic health without feeling like you had to give anything up to get there.
